Mitaka’s most advanced optical platform ever made
Built on an entirely new optical platform, the MM77 features the largest-ever aperture lens system, paired with Mitaka’s brand-new 10:1 advanced zoom system. This combination delivers Mitaka’s signature high resolution and magnification while preserving a broad field of view at low magnification and ensuring exceptional light transmission from the lens to the surgeon’s eyepiece.
The unique optical system of the Mitaka MM77, delivers the world’s highest native optical resolution, resulting in brilliant contrast, colour representation, and, ultimately, an incredible depiction of the smallest anatomical details.
The wide-range zoom system allows 10-times magnification without changing the working distance, offering unmatched versatility. The same ratio applies to increasing the field of view, enabling an exceptionally wide view at full zoom-out.
The reference optical zoom system in Mitaka Supermicroscopes surpasses industrial standard neurosurgical microscopes thanks to its native 21.6x magnification - achieved without any
focal length extender accessories.
Feature of MM77
Despite being extended to 10:1 compared to previously available zoom ratios, the zoom operation has been developed to an ultra-fast level. Repeated numerous times during a single procedure, it provides smooth, immediate, and reliable performance, saving time and enabling smarter, faster work.

Feature of MM77
The MM77 transmits more than twice as much light from the objective lens to the eyepiece as any surgical microscope ever. The enhanced brightness - and consequently, super-resolution - is a direct result of the large zoom aperture with a 30 mm diameter, which nearly doubles the industry standard of 16 mm.
Feature of SOH stand
The latest generation of the Mitaka SOH stand delivers not only the overhead ergonomics pioneered by our engineers and an unparalleled weightless operating experience with the highest precision of movement but also features effortless and quick automatic balancing with the one push of a button, without requiring the microscope to be placed in specific positions.
The SOH microscope stand features shock-absorbing technology developed through years of experience in designing and manufacturing observatory astronomical telescopes. This system dampens vibrations caused by external forces as well as those generated during manoeuvring.\
The suction system wraps the drape to the microscope, reducing size and interference in the operating field.
Exceptional balance provides incomparably light manoeuvring with the most stable feel.
Precise repositioning is easily achievable even with one hand, allowing uninterrupted workflow in a comfortable, fatigue-free posture even during long surgeries.
The rotating binocular mechanism for both the main surgeon and the assistant allows adjustment of height and position, accommodating differences in operator height for maximum comfort or specific procedural requirements.
The lateral tilt allows for an angled trajectory of the microscope in challenging access areas while maintaining the microsurgeon’s ergonomic and comfortable posture, particularly without compromising the cervical spine.
